The L-GATE gateway is the powerful universal gateway with integrated graphical visualization, simultaneously integrating CEA-709 (LonMark systems), BACnet, KNX, Modbus and M-bus. It has a display with backlight and manual operation by means of a rotary / push button. Device and data information are displayed in text and with symbols. Connection in a LonMark system is done via the IP-852 (Ethernet / IP) or TP / FT-10 channel. The LGATE-950 and -951 have an integrated Remote Network Interface (RNI) to enable access over Ethernet / IP on the TP / TF-10 channel. The BACnet connection is via BACnet / IP or BACnet MS / TP. Both versions are certified as BACnet Building Controller (B-BC) BTL. Furthermore, the L-GATE gateway has ports for direct binding to KNXnet / IP and Modbus (RTU, TCP, master or slave). M-bus or KNX TP1 can optionally be connected via an external interface module. The gateway functionality enables data exchange between all available communication technologies. These are realized by making connections between data points of different technologies. A distinction is made between local connections (on the L-GATE) and global (network exchange). LGATE supports the automated creation of connections (Smart Auto-Connectâ „¢) significantly reduces engineering work. With mathematical objects, arbitrary calculations can be performed with all data points and the result can be displayed as the starting data point. Technology data points are automatically made available as OPC tags via the integrated OPC server (XML-DA).
