Product description

The 1Home Voice & Visu is a local KNX server that bridges the professional and highly reliable KNX world with modern smart home platforms using the new Matter standard. This enables app and voice control for KNX installations without compromising reliability, privacy or local operation.

Matter is a relatively new, open smart home standard designed to allow seamless interoperability between ecosystems such as Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Samsung SmartThings. Within the traditionally closed KNX environment, Matter represents a major step towards simplicity, interoperability and future-proof integration. Communication takes place locally within the network, without mandatory cloud dependency.

After uploading an ETS project, the server automatically analyses the configuration. Devices and group addresses are detected, checked for common configuration errors and made immediately available for visualisation and control. No ETS licence or advanced programming knowledge is required.

Operation is handled via an intuitive app for iOS, Android and web. Devices can be grouped, scenes created and functions adjusted with ease. Thanks to full local operation, all core functions remain available even if the internet connection is lost. Only voice control via Siri, Google Assistant or Alexa requires an active internet connection.
