This KNX inwall interface is a compact input and output module for professional KNX installations. The device is designed for installation in flush-mounted boxes and combines multiple input types with two bistable relay outputs. The module supports KNX Data Secure and is suitable for residential, hotel and commercial building applications.
The module provides a total of 4 inputs: 2 digital inputs, 1 configurable digital/analogue input and 1 digital/analogue input that can optionally be used as a smart sensor input. Digital inputs are intended for potential-free contacts such as switches, push-buttons and sensors and can be used for switching functions, shutter control, scenes, sequences and logic functions.
Inputs 3 and 4 can be configured as analogue inputs for NTC temperature sensors. This allows a temperature value to be transmitted on the KNX bus or a complete thermostat module to be managed. The integrated thermostat controls two stages with a PI controller and is suitable for heating and cooling systems, valves and 2- and 4-pipe fan coils.
Input 4 can also be used as a smart sensor input for plug-in sensors. This enables measurement of temperature, CO₂, VOC and eCO₂ values for applications such as indoor air quality monitoring and energy-efficient building control.
The module features 2 bistable relay outputs. These can be used independently for load switching or configured in pairs for applications such as shutter and blind control, servo motors or logical interlocking.
In addition, the module is equipped with an integrated BLE Beacon (Bluetooth Low Energy) antenna, compatible with iBeacon® and Eddystone®. This allows signals to be transmitted to mobile devices for location- and presence-related applications. Transmission frequency and signal strength are adjustable.
Furthermore, 12 logic blocks are available for simple and complex logic functions, including predefined algorithms for temperature and humidity control and dew point calculation. The Virtual Holder Logic is also integrated, specially developed for hotel applications to reliably detect room occupancy.

Important note
The relay outputs are intended exclusively for switching applications. Always ensure that the connected load and the inrush current of external power supplies remain within the permissible relay limits. When using LED drivers, check that the inrush current does not exceed the maximum allowable relay inrush current.
The device is intended for indoor use only and must be installed in accordance with applicable KNX, electrical and safety standards.
