Product description
This KNX line and area coupler is designed for reliable connection of the KNX backbone (main line) with subordinate lines and areas. The device can be used as a line coupler, area coupler or line repeater. With ETS 6, it can also be used as a segment coupler to extend a main line with additional segments (sub-lines).
The coupler provides extensive filter functions for both group telegrams and physically addressed telegrams. Encrypted and unencrypted telegrams can be filtered, forwarded or blocked, independently of commissioning as a KNX Data Secure product.
In addition, the device supports the Secure Proxy function, enabling secure data exchange between KNX Secure devices and devices without KNX Secure protection. This function is available when using ETS 6.
