KNX DIN Heating Actuator 4 In / 4 Out
Art. No.: HA04A01KNX
This KNX DIN rail heating actuator is designed for the control of electrothermal valves in heating and cooling systems. The device features 4 triac outputs and 4 freely configurable inputs and is suitable for professional HVAC applications within KNX installations.
The outputs can be individually configured for on/off control, PWM control or as 2 channels for 3-point valve control. This makes the actuator suitable for applications such as underfloor heating, radiators, fan coil systems and zone heating.
The 4 inputs are intended for potential-free contacts and can be used for switches, push-buttons, scenes, shutter and blind control or step commands. In addition, inputs 1 to 4 can be configured as analogue inputs for NTC temperature sensors or as outputs for signalling LEDs.
The actuator includes integrated thermostat functionality. A total of 8 thermostat modules are available, each managing 2 control stages with an integrated PI controller for controlling heating and cooling equipment, 2- and 4-pipe fan coils and valves.
Furthermore, 8 logic blocks are available to implement simple logical functions or more complex expressions using algebraic and conditional operators. Predefined algorithms are also available, such as proportional temperature and humidity control and dew point calculation.

Important note
The maximum number of electrothermal valves per output depends on the inrush current of the valves used. Never exceed a total inrush current of 4 A per group of 4 outputs. The use of an activation delay between multiple outputs is recommended to reduce current peaks.
The device is intended for indoor use only and must be installed in low-voltage distribution boards in accordance with applicable KNX and safety standards.
