Product Description – HM 6 T KNX

Art. no.: 4940240

Application

The HM 6 T KNX is a 6-channel heating actuator/controller with FIX1 terminals, designed for precise control of thermal actuators via KNX. Suitable for both heating and cooling in residential and commercial buildings.

Main Functions

  • 6 temperature controllers (P/PI) for heating and cooling
  • Control of 6 thermal actuators (24–240 V AC) in 2 groups of 3 outputs (max. 450 mA)
  • Selectable control variable: continuous or switching
  • Deactivatable valve protection function; summer mode available
  • 4 operating modes: Comfort, Stand-by, Night, Frost/Overtemperature protection
  • Status indication via LEDs for each channel
  • Manual operation possible without bus voltage
  • Short-circuit and overload protection

Technical Specifications

KNX supply voltage: via bus, ≤4 mA
Operating voltage: 110–240 V AC, 50–60 Hz
Standby power consumption: approx. 0.5 W
Number of channels: 6
Output type: Triac, 0.45 A, not potential-free
Output voltage: 24–240 V AC
Mounting type: DIN rail, 4 modules
Connection type: Screw terminals, KNX bus terminal
Max. cable diameter: 0.5–6 mm² (solid), 0.5–4 mm² (with ferrule)
Ambient temperature: -5 °C to +45 °C
Protection rating: IP20
Protection class: Class II (EN 60 669)

Important Note

Due to the inrush behavior of thermal actuators, it is recommended not to exceed 3x1 thermal actuators at 24 V AC or 3x5 at 230 V AC per group.
