Decentralized KNX Power Supply RL 125/23 – 80 mA
The RL 125/23 is a decentralized power supply for KNX systems, providing 80 mA output current. Designed for installation in:
- AP 118 Control Module Box
- AP 641 Room Control Box
- M 590 DIN rail housing

- Primary voltage: AC 120-230 V, DC 220 V
- Secondary voltage: DC 29 V (SELV)
- Secondary current: 80 mA
- Integrated choke: Prevents data telegram short circuits.
- Supports up to 8 units in parallel per line.
Installation Instructions
The RL 125/23 connects via a bus terminal. When multiple units operate in parallel, adjust the configuration to eliminate overload indicators.
Note: The maximum cable length ranges from 350 m to 1000 m depending on the number of power supplies in use.
Safety
The power supply provides voltage and current regulation, is short-circuit proof, and bridges short power outages (≥100 ms).
To ensure uninterrupted power, use a separate circuit with safety isolation for the mains supply.
