Application
The Theben RMG 8 T KNX is a versatile KNX base module from the MIX2 series. It can be configured as an 8-channel switch actuator or a 4-channel blind actuator, ideal for controlling lighting, blinds, roof windows, or ventilation flaps in KNX building automation systems. It is DIN rail mountable and expandable with up to two MIX or MIX2 extension modules for a total of up to 24 channels.

Important notes
- The stated 16 A switching current applies to resistive loads only. For inductive loads (e.g. motors), the max. permissible current is approx. 3 A.
- Switching different mains phases is supported. Always observe local installation regulations.
- When used as a blind actuator, two outputs are combined per motor, resulting in 4 blind channels total.
- All functions are available via manual control even without a KNX bus module.
Important note: This device is a base module from the MIX2 system. To expand up to 24 channels, up to two MIX or MIX2 extension modules can be connected.
