The Eelectron IC01D01DAL is a universal KNX–DALI gateway with one channel (Single-Master Application Controller) designed to control electronic ballasts (ECGs) with a DALI interface according to EN 62386. The device converts KNX switch and dim commands into DALI telegrams and sends DALI status information back to the KNX bus. One DALI output supports up to 64 ECGs, either individually or in up to 16 DALI groups. It supports Tunable White (DT-8) lighting and integrates KNX scenes, time programs, and colour control through DALI.

DALI and compatibility information
- Supports ECGs compliant with EN 62386-102 ed.1 (DALI v1) and ed.2 (DALI-2)
- Certified according to EN 62386-101 and -103 ed.2 (DALI-2); authorised to bear the DALI-2 logo
- Single-master operation only: no additional DALI controllers within the same segment. The device provides its own DALI power supply; external DALI supply is not permitted
- DT-1 emergency lighting devices can be read and switched, but test and report functions are not supported. For full DT-1 operation, use the IC01D03DAL

Important notes
- Single-master operation: use only one DALI controller per segment; external DALI supplies are not allowed.
- Integrated DALI power supply: the gateway powers the DALI line; observe current and cable length limits.
- DT-8 sub-type PrimaryN is not supported; use Tc/XY/RGB(RGBW/HSV) depending on ECG specification.
- For DT-1 emergency lighting with test/report functions, use IC01D03DAL.
- Installation, commissioning and ETS configuration must be performed by qualified professionals in accordance with KNX/DALI standards and safety regulations.
