KNX Bridge with IP Interface and Power Supply KNX + AUX 640 mA + MQTTs

Part number: IPSBA01KNX  |  EAN: 8054144522319

The Eelectron IPSBA01KNX is an advanced KNX power supply with an integrated IP interface and MQTTs (“MQTT Secure”) – the secured version of the MQTT protocol for IoT communication. It provides a total output current of 640 mA for KNX and AUX outputs (29 V DC) and offers comprehensive network, monitoring, and logic functions. Thanks to the built-in IP connectivity, KNX systems can be seamlessly linked to modern IoT and cloud platforms.

Applications

  • Power supply and IP communication for KNX installations in residential and commercial buildings
  • Secure IoT integration via MQTTs with TLS certificates
  • Ethernet connection between KNX TP and IP networks
  • Continuous monitoring and logical automation via ETS configuration
  • DIN rail mounting (4 modules) for distribution boards

Main features

  • KNX + AUX power supply with total 640 mA (29 V DC)
  • Integrated IP interface according to KNXnet/IP specifications (up to 5 IP addresses)
  • MQTTs (“MQTT Secure”) for encrypted IoT communication using TLS certificates
  • Supports up to 160 MQTT objects for publish/subscribe operations
  • Full KNX Data Secure support
  • ETS configuration for dual power supply setup (minimum distance 200 m)
  • 48 logic blocks for simple or complex automation expressions
  • Integrated proportional control for temperature/humidity and dew point calculation
  • Virtual Holder Logic for precise presence detection (e.g. hotel rooms)
  • OnLine/OffLine monitoring of up to 128 KNX TP devices
  • Pushbuttons and LEDs for bus reset, factory reset and network status indication

Important notes

  • “MQTTs” stands for “MQTT Secure” – a protected IoT communication protocol with TLS encryption and certificate-based authentication.
  • When using multiple power supplies on the same bus line, a minimum distance of 200 m must be maintained.
  • The total output current (KNX + AUX) must not exceed 640 mA.
  • Configuration and parameterisation via ETS® should only be performed by qualified KNX installers.
  • For indoor use only and in dry environments.
