The KNX switching actuator / I/O module with 16 relay outputs (16A/16AX – C-load) and 16 potential-free inputs offers maximum flexibility for controlling lighting, HVAC, blinds, fans, motors and scenes. The outputs can be configured individually or in pairs for applications such as shutters, ventilation units and 3-point valves.
The device supports 16 PWM valve channels, 8 channels for shutter/blind control, 8 channels for 3-point valves and up to 4 fan-coil actuators (2-pipe). In addition, relays can be grouped using logical interlocks to create complex fan-coil configurations or special functions (up to 8 linked relays).
The 16 inputs can be used for pushbuttons, switches or (as output) for signal LEDs. Four of these inputs can be set as analogue inputs for NTC temperature sensors, providing up to 4 temperature measurements on the bus and enabling simple thermal control.
The module supports up to 2 integrated thermostats (when inputs 3–8 and 11–16 are not used), including PI control for heating, cooling, valves and 2- or 4-pipe fan-coil systems. Manual operation via front buttons and status LEDs is also available.
