What is BLE?
This version includes an integrated BLE beacon (Bluetooth Low Energy) that transmits at adjustable intervals and signal strength. Compatible with iBeacon® and Eddystone®. Using a dedicated app, smartphones and tablets can interpret the beacon signal for notifications, access and location logic, and room or building management. BLE complements KNX by adding context-aware functionality for hospitality and office environments.
Product Description
The KNX Presence Detector Standard BLE is a ceiling-mounted PIR sensor with an integrated light sensor, 5 independently configurable detection channels, 12 logic blocks, and advanced functions such as Circadian Rhythm and Virtual Holder Logic. The 3 rear digital inputs (one configurable as an analogue input for NTC sensors) support switching, dimming, scene control, and blinds. Integration with the wireless door lock interface IC01H10DLS (for up to 8 doors) is possible, while the three inputs remain available.

Important Note (Installation & Calibration)
- Lux measurement is indirect (ceiling-mounted): calibrate via ETS using a local lux meter
- Avoid direct sunlight or artificial light on the sensor, as well as heat sources or moving objects in the detection area
- Mount securely on a stable, vibration-free surface; for complex layouts or obstructions, use additional sensors for full coverage
