Product Description

The DALI Gateway KNX plus from Theben is an advanced interface for integrating up to 64 DALI devices into a KNX building automation system. It supports electronic ballasts (EVGs), transformers, LED converters and more. Up to 16 groups per gateway can be switched, dimmed, or set to a specific value. The device supports full color control (DALI DT8), emergency lighting (single and central battery, EN 62386-202), scenes and effects.

Important Note on DALI-2 and EN 62386-202 (Part 202)

This product supports DALI emergency lighting functions according to EN 62386-202 (DALI Part 202). This international standard is part of the DALI-2 specification and defines requirements for self-contained emergency luminaires connected to DALI.

Thanks to EN 62386-202 support, DALI-2 certified emergency devices ("Device Type 1") can be integrated, monitored, and tested via this gateway. This allows maintenance, monitoring, and automatic emergency lighting tests to be easily implemented within the KNX system.

Note: EN 62386-202 compatibility guarantees DALI-2 functionality for emergency lighting. However, it does not automatically mean that the gateway is fully certified for all DALI-2 functions. For up-to-date DALI-2 certification status, please check the DALI Alliance database or the official Theben documentation.
